The Temple at Heveningham Hall, Grade 2* listed, was designed by James Wyatt as a landscape feature in the late 18th Century. The building had been badly repaired with cement render, stock mouldings and lots of filler. The contract involved stripping away all the decayed timber and cement render, stabilising the building with Helifix ties then restoring the Temple using drawings and archive material to its original splendour. |
